Good read. Every time I board a plane I now give it a little good luck pat with my right hand before darkening the doorstep and I taught my son to do that too :) Someone who orchestrated the infamous Coors Light Concorde jet flight taught me that. FYI apparently there is actually a "vintage" Coors Light inflatable available online as a collectible if anyone needs one https://www.worthpoint.com/worthopedia/vintage-coors-light-inflatable-3242984942
A very funny and excellent read David. Could not agree more. Also, no article about air travel is complete without an Airplane 1977 reference. Nice work!
I so related to this David. We don't fly domestically in Australia much these days for those very reasons you outline. I've just watched the Easter airport madness on the news and was grateful I don't have to travel in peak holidays anymore. We still fly to UK from Oz to see family most years, but post COVID even business class is just not fun anymore. I know, serious first world problem.
Yes, everything you said!

thanks Matt. That movie shaped my entire teenage years.

Thanks, Robin. It used to be a somewhat enjoyable experience. I also fly less now, unless it's for business.
